PlebChat Handbook¶
PlebChat is a private workspace for thinking with AI: explore a question, read source material, turn it into writing, and stress-test the claims.
There is no PlebChat account. Your Nostr key is your identity, your work starts on your device, and private sync is encrypted. You can bring your own AI provider or buy pay-as-you-go access with bitcoin.
One surface¶
A sidebar of what you have, tabs for whatever you open, and the Agent beside them. Open a book, a file, and an article at once; the Agent stays on the right.
Agent¶
Have a private conversation, attach material, run cited research, execute Python, and preview HTML. Grant it folders and it reads and writes files there. Learn about Chat, and see Models and tools for the composer's full reference.
Files and library¶
Keep folders and files, books, PDFs, articles, bookmarks, and feeds together. Share a folder with a public link. Highlight books, add notes, and decide what stays local or syncs. Learn about Files. Learn about Read.
Debate¶
Turn a thesis into a visible structure of support and challenge. Define terms, concede points, invite counter-arguments, and use an AI interlocutor. Learn about Debate.
Workspaces¶
Keep separate lines of work apart. Each workspace has its own chats, files, books, PDFs, debates, and favorites, and remembers its own open tabs on each device. Switch from the PlebChat menu at the top of the sidebar.

Alpha software
PlebChat is pre-release. Data shapes may change and local Alpha data may be cleared. Keep copies of important work and never rely on PlebChat as the only backup.
