Folders and files live on this device first. Encrypted sync can copy names and hashes to your other devices. Bytes stay local until you back a file up or share a folder.

Share a folder

Open a subfolder. Use Share on the bar, or Share folder on the folder menu. Confirm the warning. Anyone with the link can read and copy every file. Blossom stores the bytes by hash, without encryption.

The workspace root cannot be shared.

The link looks like plebchat.me/<naddr>. A visitor sees a read-only Files tab. They can open a note, copy the link, or Clone the folder into their own workspace. Clone is a copy. Edits there do not change the published listing.

Update or Publish writes a new version. The Version menu opens an earlier one. Unshare asks relays to drop the listing. Copies may remain.

Marks

On a shared text file you can highlight, comment, ask a question, or suggest an edit. A suggested edit Apply opens Diff on your local copy if you have one.

Include another listing

If you own the shared folder, paste another person's share link and Include it. New files show as New until you Accept or Ignore. Accept picks a name when two files would collide. Follow is optional. If you turn it on, your key signs a new version when that listing moves.
